FAQs

sauna slut | noun | \ˈsȯ-nə slət \

An individual so devoted to the principles of heat shock proteins and cardiovascular conditioning that they consider a day without sweating in temperatures exceeding 180°F to be a day wasted, often abandoning social obligations with the excuse "I have a sauna session scheduled." Etymology: Early 21st century; from the combination of traditional Scandinavian bathing culture and an unapologetic embrace of optimization culture. Founded by Nikki Howard, we make organic cotton apparel, cable knit beanies, and coconut fiber mats for biohackers, sauna devotees, cold plungers, and everyone else who considers 180°F a reasonable morning.

What are the collections?

Six of them. Tees, beanies, and a coconut mat.

SAUNA SLUT — the OG.

NO SEED OILS — for the clean eater with smart opinions.

TRUST THE PROTOCOL — doing all of it: therapy, peptides, cold plunge, integration walks.

TALLOW TRAMP — carnivore/ancestral health devotee. Shows up late because: sauna.

PEPTIDE PIMP — the optimizer. Stacks everything, tracks everything.

PEPTIDE PRINCESS — takes the protocols seriously, makes it look effortless.

What's a heat shock protein?

It's a protein your cells produce in response to heat stress — including a sauna session. Heat shock proteins help repair damaged proteins, reduce inflammation, and support cardiovascular and muscle function. Regular sauna use (15–20 minutes at 170–190°F, a few times a week) is associated with elevated HSP levels. Your audience knows this. We're not going to over-explain it.

Is the cotton actually organic?

Yes. 100% organic cotton, 180 g/m², pesticide-free and herbicide-free. Vegan certified and amfori BSCI approved for ethical production and responsible sourcing. It's not a marketing claim — it's what it's made of.

Can I wear this in the sauna?

The tees are 100% organic cotton — they handle heat fine. That said, we're not responsible for what you do in there.

What sizes do you carry?

Tees and sweatshirts run XS–3XL, unisex fit. Beanies are one size fits most. When in doubt, size up — the organic cotton has a pre-washed softness that holds its shape without going stiff.

What are the coconut mats made of?

Grade A tufted coir coconut fiber — the husk of a coconut, one of the oldest flooring materials on the planet. Naturally antimicrobial, moisture-resistant, and built to outlast whatever protocol you're currently running. Black vinyl anti-slip backing. 24" × 16". Designed for outdoor saunas, barefoot exits, and post-session drips.

Where are your products made?

Printed and fulfilled on demand through vetted production partners. Each item is made when you order it — which means no overstock, no waste, and nothing sitting in a warehouse waiting for someone to care. Intentional by design.

How long does shipping take?

Production takes 2–5 business days. After that: US orders ship in 3–7 business days. International orders take 7–21 business days. You'll get tracking as soon as it leaves production.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Expect 7–21 business days once it ships.

What's your return policy?

Because every item is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges for sizing or change of mind. If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective — contact us and we'll make it right.
